Pre-lab Reminders, Changes, Hints and Tips

  1. Your teacher will provide you with the resistor for you to test in this experiment.
  2. Set up the circuit carefully and have your teacher check BEFORE turning anything on. 
  3. Data table reminders:  Descriptive title.  Column headings have units and uncertainty.  No units (or unc) recorded with data.  Data should have consistent precision (all volumes will have the same number of decimal places for example).

  1. MAKE SURE Logger Pro is set up correctly - sampling frequency etc BEFORE collecting data.
  2. You may wish to try a different two microphone method - interesting (see diagram below from your text)
